Time went so fast we were there till dark
Do you remember the picnic you made?
The biscuits you cooked we ate them by the lake
Afterwards I went and played on the swings
And felt so happy I started to sing
With the world upside down I started to slip
I cut all my knee as I lost my grip
And it stung and it swelled and it made me cry
But you picked me up and held on to me tight
You made me smile with the comforts youd say
And you carried me home,
Carried me all the way.

Cruel sunlight streams through
My open curtains
Its burns through my eyelids,
Suddenly im awake
The familer feeling
Of emtiness inside
Resides agian
